Single purpose

Unbait reduces clickbait and noisy interface elements on YouTube so people can choose videos more calmly. It only changes how YouTube looks in the browser. It does not change what video plays.

Permissions

Unbait uses the Chrome storage permission to remember your toggles. The content script runs only on YouTube. There is no remote code.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Settings stay in Chrome storage on your device. Unbait does not collect personal information, watch history, or page content.
